The Howling Void celebrates its tenth anniversary with a new album

The Howling Void turns ten and will celebrate this landmark with the release of the sixth full-length album, The Darkness At The Edge Of Dawn. San Antonio-based multi-instrumentalist Ryan Wilson continues his partnership with Avantgarde Music giving birth to the successor of 2016 The Triumph Of Ruin: a new handful of slow-paced, contemplative songs somewhere between eastern European funeral doom metal and US classic, muscular sounds.
Once again The Howling Void delivers the finest doom metal for both more extreme listeners and classic doom fans. Wilson’s haunting melodies flow over monolithic riffs, while his voice sings once again of distant shores and setting suns and melancholic keyboards float filling empty spaces.
The Darkness At The Edge Of Dawn will be out digitally November 25th, while digi CDs will be shipped December 18th, but you can stream a preview and preorder it now via our official Bandcamp.
